Summary

About the Position: Serves as the primary PM liaison with the higher headquarters, Program Executive office (PEO) Human Resource Office (HRO) on matters relating to organizational structure, manpower, and the assignment of functional responsibilities, and personnel actions.

THIS IS A TERM POSITION NTE 2 YEARS, WHICH MAY BE EXTENDED UP TO 5 YEARS.

  • Serves as the administrative, civilian personnel, and civilian and military manpower primary Action Officer for the Project Manager (PM)
  • Provides key assistance to the managers and supervisors in facilitating the performance of their employment management and official structure responsibilities

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-04 grade level in the Federal service which includes 1) Perform various typing and filing tasks; and 2) Utilize a personal computer and various software products; and 3) Perform general administrative duties such as time and attendance and security activities; OR

I have successfully completed four years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.); OR

I have the specialized experience as described in A, but less than one year; and I have some education above the high school level but less than required in B. I have computed the percentage of the requirements that I meet, and the total is at least 100% (To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then, divide your semester hours of education beyond two years (total semester hours minus 60) by 60. Add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent to qualify.). (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.); OR

I have the experience as described in A AND the education described in B. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)

You will be evaluated for this job based on how well you meet the qualifications above.
