Position Description CGI Federal has an immediate need for a federal acquisition subject matter expert for a large-scale Momentum ERP financial and acquisition system implementation. This is an exciting full-time opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest organizations of the US Federal Government. This program will retire the agency's existing legacy system and replace it with Momentum. We take an innovative and collaborative approach to supporting our client, working in an agile environment using emerging technologies. You will be interacting with a dynamic team of people, with opportunities to learn and grow as you help deliver the overall solution to our client.Your future duties and responsibilities * Support federal customers with analyzing current acquisition processes, recommending opportunities for streamlining and enhancing acquisition processes, and developing and implementing solutions to meet customer requirements.* Attend and participate in meetings with client stakeholders.* Conduct analysis on problems independently, research and recommend solutions, and execute resolution steps to address client issues.* Provide functional support for testing such as developing test scenarios and documentation and performing validation testing for the core Momentum application and reports.* Provide functional support for new initiative implementation activities, such as requirements analysis, development of design, and configuration documentation* Provide support for federal government mandated initiatives.Required qualifications to be successful in this role Due to the nature of the contract requirements, US citizenship and successful passing of CGI background check is required prior to beginning work.* Bachelor's degree* Former Contracting Officer with 3+ years of federal contracting experience* Demonstrated experience with and knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) guidelines and US Government contracting* Experience conducting a wide range of acquisition lifecycle activities, including:o Acquisition planningo Contract awarding and closeout activitieso Source selectiono Firm fixed-price contractso T&M contractso Cost and price analysis and negotiation experienceo Cost plus and cost reimbursement* Experience using a modern contracting writing system* Willingness to be active and "hands-on" in configuring and testing the new solution* Open to implementing new acquisition strategies* Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate and interact with senior level management and clients* Interest in business process improvement and modernization of acquisition processes at a large federal agency.* Strong written and oral communication skills* An outstanding ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines* Self-motivated with a positive attitude, works independently and good work ethic, the successful candidate will be a team player who is proactiveDesired Qualifications:* Exposure to Momentum or other financial ERP system is desired#CGIFederalJob#LI-MC3What you can expect from usBuild your career with us.It is an extraordinary time to be in business.
