Description SAIC is seeking a Ground System Software Engineer to work in a Program Office, providing space systems ground segment acquisitions support for major program acquisitions and their related O&M contract. This program procures satellite vehicles with associated ground segments. The ground segment consists of ground command and control (C2) software and hardware, and includes Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE) and networks. This position is located in Chantilly, VA. To be considered you must have an active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph. In this role, you will provide primary support to the development branch. Job duties include: Leverage understanding of full life-cycle system support, from procurement to O&M, including requirements analysis, requirements tracking, system design and development through system test, delivery, installation, and sell-off. Focus on software development, testing, analysis, and requirements verification. Provide contractual support requiring technical evaluation of proposals. Qualifications TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph Experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to include waterfall or agile methods Experience with virtualization and cloud technologies Experience delivering integrated software and hardware Experience with DOORS CSEP and or PMP certifications
