Responsibilities

As senior employee in a small warehouse or supply facility, or overseer of one or more product lines or segments of a larger warehouse. Receives, stores, selects and ships general or specialized bulk and bin materials, supplies and equipment. Reports damaged goods or shipment shortages. Independently loads and unloads materials and places it in correct locations or storage areas. Locates, loads and moves material for shipment and verifies or prepares shipping documents. Participates in physical inventories. May work in hazardous materials storage areas, following specialized handling and storage procedures. May operate warehouse tractors, forklifts, tugs, trucks or other general-purpose vehicles.

Qualifications

There is no specific length or level of experience requirements. The applicant's overall background of experience, education and training must clearly demonstrate the ability to perform the duties, as described in this announcement. Ability to do warehouse work without more than normal supervision. Ability to drive vehicles weighing 26,000 lbs or more as evidenced by a current valid state Commercial Driver's License, presented at time of interview. (SCREENOUT)
