Supporting the Most Exciting and Meaningful Missions in the WorldAccountant, Cash ManagementPosition Description: * THIS POSITION CAN BE REMOTE*Prepare and input recurring and one-off journal entries into CostPoint to record corporate cash activity timely and accurately to document business transactions.Prepare monthly bank account reconciliations timely and accurately in Blackline that include proper supporting documentation.Understand the flow of cash transactions within the financial and business operationsResearch and work with other departments to clear reconciling items.Research and provide timely replies to the DCAA and external auditors for the yearend audit, quarterly reviews and ad hoc requests.Document processes and procedures for the duties performed.Adhere to policies and procedures to promote a strong internal controls environment.Maintain accounts in accordance with US generally accepted accounting principlesSupport the cash manager and others on special projects, as requiredDetailed description of experience, training, and other requirements for job performance: Bachelor degree in accountingMust be flexible and work collaboratively in a team environmentStrong verbal and writing skills.
