We are actively seeking Principal System Administrators to provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems for a Mission customer. Your talents, perspectives, and efforts will contribute directly to the production of valuable intelligence to facilitate positive mission outcomes. Responsibilities include: Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc. Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications and software integration Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems Qualifications TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph Bachelor s degree in an technical discipline Additional years of relevant experience in lieu of degree will be considered Fifteen (15) years of systems administration experience Demonstrated experience working with UNIX and Windows operating systems Overview SAIC is a premier technology integrator solving our nation's most complex modernization and readiness challenges.
