Job Description: We are seeking a Senior level Systems Administrator to support our customer in the Fort Meade / Annapolis Junction, MD area. What you'll do The candidate will be responsible for providing support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT Systems. The System Administrator will manage the IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems. Will also provide day to day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client, server, storage, network devices, mobile devices, etc. In addition, the candidate will support the dispatch system and hardware problems throughout the resolution process. The candidate will configure and manage Linux, UNIX and Windows operating systems, install/load operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity, configure network components and implement enhancements to improve reliability and performance. Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems. The candidate will also be responsible for optimizing system operations and resource utilization and performing system capacity analysis and planning. You'd be a great fit if * Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline with 10 years Systems Administration experience with the Federal Government in programs of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
