Job Description: Parsons is seeking a Systems Engineer to support on-going research and development (R&D) efforts at one of the Army's premier R&D Centers of Excellence at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), Maryland. This position includes opportunities to influence and support Army next generation Electronic Warfare (EW), SIGINT, and C5ISR systems and technologies. The successful candidate, working with a team of experts, will support the analysis, research, development, test and evaluation of new technologies for current and future Army EW, C-IED, cyber, and C5ISR systems and technologies. The successful candidate will provide technical expertise, and systems engineering support to multiple projects. Duties may include engineering tasks, technical support to systems' design, development, demonstrations, test events, and evaluation/analysis of demonstration/test results. Qualifications: * BS in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or similar field * 5+ years of experience performing systems engineering duties for EW, Cyber, SIGINT, or tactical C5ISR systems * Experience in using agile development methodologies for system design, development, engineering, test, evaluation, and data analysis * Experience in the development of test plans, test procedures, schedules, and reports for laboratory and field tests/demonstrations * Knowledge and experience in software-based systems for EW, cyber, and C5ISR systems and technologies * System acquisition experience, Army system/capability Program Management office experience * Army systems development, testing, fielding and acquisition experience * Experience in the preparation of technical reports, technical briefings, technical drawings, performance work statements, system developmental schedules, performance specifications, and requirements documentation * This position requires the selected candidate to hold an active Department of Defense Top Secret level security clearance, which requires US citizenship while working in support of a government contract. Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
