As an Oncology Receptionist, you will be responsible for:
• Supporting departmental operations by providing effective and timely communications
• Maintaining data and related records
• Processing physician orders, communication, and other general duties

Qualified candidates will possess:
• High school diploma / GED
• At least 1 year experience working in a hospital or doctor's office.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology required.
• Proficient in PC, Internet and email required.
• Experience with telephonic support/high volume calls
• Training in data entry of clinical systems preferred.

Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday: 8:30am-5pm

Welcome and greet patients and visitors in person and on the telephone. Obtain records needed for all patient visits and prepare electronic patient chart in advance of scheduled appointments. Various duties will include electronic filing, scanning, faxing, updating and maintaining all digital patient records and assist in transitioning hard copy records to digital format.
