The Human Resources Manager has responsibility over the human resources and recruiting activities for assigned projects and must have demonstrated ability to plan, direct and coordinate all human resources activities. This role will partner with business leaders to develop and execute HR strategies focused on workforce planning and employee engagement. During COVID-19 this position may be remote and continue remote for an extended period. Responsibilities:Manage HR topics for assigned projects/contracts and serve as link between management and employees by handling questions and resolving HR-related issues.Work with Payroll, Benefits and IT departments on related matters for assigned projects/contracts.Work with hiring managers and program managers to ensure staffing and recruiting needs are met with adequate resources. Manage recruiting cycle of cleared and non-cleared candidates using traditional and non-traditional sourcing techniques, including providing training and guidance on selection process. Ensure company compliance with all laws and legal matters related to HR.Provide current and prospective employees with information and training on policies, job duties and opportunities for promotion.Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attituded toward organizational objectives.Develop and maintain strong internal customer and candidate relationships.Manage compliance audits as necessary Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years' related HR experience; Prior HR government contracting experience preferredEmployee Relations experienceStrong project and time management skills; working with an employee population of 600+Must be able to work independently and interact well with others in a team settingMust be capable of working under tight time constraints in a high-volume environment with multiple prioritiesHighly motivated, flexible organized and must be detail orientedExcellent MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skillsAbility to quickly learn new software and technology systems - HRIS (ADP Workforce Now), Maximo or DelTek SHRM or HRCI certification preferredTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform all the essential duties of the position satisfactorily.
