Job summary Charles E. Smith Life Communities, located on a 38-acre campus in suburban Rockville, Maryland is looking for Sanitation Aide/Food Service Worker to play an integral role in ensuring our customers have exceptional dining experiences. The right person will be passionate about food and service, and thoroughly enjoy creating excellent experiences for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a friendly, outgoing disposition and previous experience working as a Sanitation Aide/Food Service Worker in a bustling, fast-paced setting. Responsibilities The Sanitation Aide/Food Service Worker will work closely with the Chef and the Dining Management team to inventory, order and restock the needed supplies. Cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen equipment and appliances and maintaining a high degree of cleanliness in both the kitchen and dining area. Operate dish machine per approved guidelines. Check all items for cleanliness and stores clean items per approved guidelines. Delivery of food items, as directed Clear and clean all tables, and maintain a clean and orderly workstation at all times. Perform other duties as assigned by the Dining Manager or Chef.
