Ref ID: 31000-9502688778Classification: Attorney/LawyerCompensation: $80000.00 to $100000.00 yearlyRobert Half Direct is partnering with a Personal Injury/Civil Litigation boutique firm to help them find a mid-level Litigation Attorney.The position requires drafting motions, interviewing and preparing witnesses, deposing fact and expert witnesses, and handling discovery, mediations, oral arguments, and trials. Prior jury trial and deposition experience is preferred.The ideal candidate welcomes increasing responsibility, enjoys novel work challenges, and manages a fast-paced workflow. Then you'd fit right in.If you are looking to be part of a highly motivated team, are naturally tenacious, driven and have a can-do attitude, we'd love to hear from you.Salary commensurate with experience and includes an opportunity for bonuses based on case originations.Benefits include health insurance, life insurance, and a generous 401(k) plan.Job Requirements:Prior litigation experience is a must and recent law school graduates will not be considered.Medical malpractice experience Personal injury experienceMust have actual experience in proactively moving cases forward, demonstrated experience in all aspects of a case, including depositions, motions practice, trial preparation and jury trials.You must have excellent communication skills and be energetic, detail oriented, and enjoy working with a team. The ideal candidate must be organized and efficient and able to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks based on urgency and due dates.The candidate should have experience in the District of Columbia and must be in good standing with the DC Bar. Admissions to the Virginia and Maryland Bars are a plus.
