ECS is seeking a Configuration Management Analyst to work in our Arlington, VA office. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award. Job Description: Join us and support DHS enterprise level infrastructure and platform teams as we design, build, and deliver innovative solutions across on-prem and cloud computing environments. ECS is looking for candidates to support and Configuration and Change Management activities and support CM process transformation. This position will support CM boards and project teams in establishing and following best practices for change and configuration management, developing, implementing and maintaining CMDB, and release validation and management. This position will work across a range of enterprise level infrastructure and systems to develop, modify, implement, and monitor the configuration management plan in accordance with DHS requirements. The candidate will implement, administer and maintain configuration management tools to support configuration identification, control, reporting, and delivery of program products. Successful candidates will have strong experience with infrastructure and application configuration management, including release versioning strategies using a distributed source control repository such as Git. The candidate should be familiar with Agile CI/CD processes and managing open source solutions. The candidate must have experience maintaining configuration of cloud-based environments including using infrastructure as code and using Ansible or other open source technologies across multiple environments. Required Skills: Must be a US Citizen Bachelor's Degree (Preferably STEM) Able to obtain DHS Public Trust Minimum 4 years of experience in managing configuration of software code and systems Demonstrated experience in configuration management process and techniques with experience establishing and implementing a configuration management plan Demonstrated experience with identification of controlled artifacts (configuration items) and implementation of standard CM control processes Advanced level experience designing, implementing, supporting, monitoring and maintaining systems using open source technologies across multiple environments including cloud and on-premise infrastructure Advanced level experience with source control tools and technologies. Git, Azure DevOps or similar distributed repository technology preferred Intermediate level expertise managing and working through integrated application lifecycle management solutions (for example JIRA integration with Confluence, Git/Bitbucket) Familiarity in system architecture and engineering disciplines Experience with configuration management in virtualized, on-prem, and cloud-based platform-as-a-service environments Novice level experience in the cyber security domain to include; governance and risk management, compliance, business continuity and disaster recovery, encryption, software development security, access control, network security / secure architecture, and security operations Excellent written and oral communication skills, effective interpersonal skills, problem solving ability and strong work ethic that is proactive and self-motivated.
