ECS is seeking a Lead Network Analyst to work in our Adelphi, MD office. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award. Job Description: The Lead Network Analyst will work to assist the Cyber Security Service Program (CSSP) in the configuration, management, and maintenance of the network to the C5ISR Center, Sustaining Base Network Assurance Branch (SBNAB). Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and updating of network infrastructure supporting the C5ISR Center, SBNAB. Responsibilities include the following: Configure, build, install and ship (if necessary) network components and servers. Maintain a proactive assessment and remediation process for all systems using available tools as required by DoD policy. Troubleshoot and resolve SBNAB C2 Infrastructure connectivity, configuration, network and hardware issues. Resolution and timeframe for instituting fixes shall factor in the importance of the system based upon criticality of the system to operational requirements. Troubleshoot deployed components of the SBNAB C2 infrastructure and application connectivity issues. Support all current and emergent DoD COTS standardized tools or capabilities in use or as adopted as baselines, and custom GOTS IDS tools in support of cyber defense for the CSSP. Ensure 24/7 upkeep and availability of the network infrastructure, complete regular preventative maintenance and account administration, effectively communicate issues with systems administrations personnel, and operational compliance configurations IAW with CSSP, DoD, and Government governing policy and directives. Assist with and ensure services are properly aligned and provide technical support to the CSSP subscribers, verifying data integrity IAW DoD and CSSP policy guidance. Proactively monitor systems for performance and early problem detection. This includes forecasting future needs to prevent performance, bandwidth, and operational impacts. Required Skills: Active TS/SCI clearance Master's degree with 6-8 years of experience or Bachelor s degree with 8-10 years of experience in the subject or area related to information technology of computer science.
