The SALES AND MARKETING DIRECTORATES (SAM) is responsible for the development and design of a variety of marketing media, and promotion, sales, service and distribution of a wide variety of numismatic collectibles and precious metals bullion.

As a Deputy Associate Director of Sales and Marketing Directorate, you will:
  • Create a world-class Sales and Marketing (SAM) organization.
  • Develop and execute strategies and annual action items to lead the organization forward on its strategic journey.
  • Review programs/projects to determine how they can be accomplished with the least disruption to workers and mission operations and that directions and schedules are accomplished in a timely manner
  • Participate in regular information planning sessions, maintain productive interaction with staff.
  • Make recommendations for actions when adjustments or a different course of action is necessary
  • Draft guidance and direction regarding program management and reporting

The experience may have been gained in either the public or private sector or volunteer service . One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.

Specialized experience: For the GS-15, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service.

Specialized experience for this position includes:
  • Experience executing marketing plans for agency/organization impacting national economic commerce; and
  • Experience providing senior level leadership direction over day to day operations of an organization; and
  • Experience leading teams to ensure on-time execution of plans and delivery of products for an evolving market; and
  • Experience in technical, economic, computer and financial analysis to deal with multi-year programs, project financial impact.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
