Automated Resource Management Associates (ARMA), Inc. is seeking a Jr. Systems Analyst for their client in Pikesville, Maryland. The Jr. Systems Analyst will provide application and hardware support for the agency's legacy Lotus Domino system. Responsibilities include but limited to: Maintain a system uptime of 99.9% Maintain a minimum of one Fargo printer in operation, and a minimum of one Fargo in working order on stand-by. Manage the User Access Request process for Lotus and keep completed, approved forms as required by ITD procedure. Be available onsite for in-person support of the system for Licensing Division personnel. After hours support may be required in emergency situations. Provide technical assistance to programmers during all stages of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Provide ad hoc reports as required for outside data requests Provide technical assistance to vendors for the conversion of data Support of the Lotus System & Peripherals including, but not limited to: monitor application performance; perform server patching and maintenance; manage application/data backup; manage user access and security; perform and optimize index rebuilds Create Oracle tables, with the addition of indexes, and the loading and cleansing of data Working with Us The foundational purpose of ARMA is work that matters. Job Requirements:The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience developing and supporting applications written in Lotus Notes. Able to work unsupervised and be able to perform industry standard Lotus Notes Server and Application maintenance activities as well as troubleshoot issues as they arise. Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers, end-users, and vendor development staff, as well as all levels of management and personnel as necessary Experience with FILE-AID, Expeditor, Mainframe, IMS, CICS, COBOL, z/OS, OS/390, TCP/IP, FTP, SQL, DB2, ORACLE 10g (and above), LU6.2 and Sockets in providing programming support preferred Strong analytical and good teamwork skills Access to a vehicle and a valid driver's license Ability to occasionally travel within the state of Maryland
