Energize your career at Exelon! PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION: Provide financial expertise to support project finances and their processes for large projects in the Customer area. Provide IT teams and business personnel with financial information needed to support the project. The ideal candidate for this position is a very experienced financial analyst with the Exelon processes and leadership abilities. The role represents financial knowledge of Exelon processes and standards, coordinates project finances in partnership with key stakeholders and assists in the preparation of leadership presentations. Expected to work under minimal supervision. PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES: Provide financial analysis and reporting for management on major capital and O&M cost drivers. Work with project team to control and manage costs. Forecast performance against goals, plans and budgets. Bring a financial perspective to daily project operations. Prepare and review month-end, quarterly and full-year forecast/reports up to and including: executive reporting packages, monthly financial close packages, quarterly management meeting presentations. Review and process Capital and other Project Request proposals. Monitor and report on Project spend. Manage project PFOT to ensure all resources are identified and dollars align with project forecasts. Manage project cost plans in Service Now and align with project forecasts. Lead each monthly financial closing (pre and post close work), providing all required reporting to other Exelon groups. Ensure proper accounting treatment is followed and monitor adherence to corporate policies and procedures. Assist with short-term and long-range business planning for customer large projects. Prepare and analyze comprehensive and detailed financial reports as needed. Develop, organize and present detailed performance reports for both internal and external use. Find areas for improvement in process and quality. POSITION SCOPE: Lead the project finances, forecasts, and performance Maintain deep knowledge of financial processes and its application across Exelon Utilities Participate within Exelon to drive new business opportunities and solve complex business problems Work under minimal supervision. Qualifications POSITION SPECIFICATIONS: Minimum: Bachelor's degree and typically 7 to 10 years' experience in managing IT and/or IT related project finances.
