Job DescriptionWhat Youll Get to Do:CACIs Business and Information Technology Solutions (BITS) Sector is seeking a Cloud DevOps / Software Developer who will implement DevOps principles and practices to get the most out of the tool chain, automate deployments into varied and complex environments in a cloud environment, collaborate with team members from all parts of the development life cycle, from development to operations to security, solve technical challenges, and provide and receive guidance and mentorship.Youll Bring These Qualifications:Experience configuring and maintaining DevOps continuous pipeline based on Jenkins and Docker containers in an AWS and C2S environmentKnowledge of version control systems (eg, Git)Proficiency in an interpreted scripting language (eg, Python, Perl, Ruby, etc.)Must be very comfortable operating within a Linux environmentFull SDLC experience (eg, business case and requirements engineering to production support)Strong written, planning, organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving skillsExperience with individual or combination of the SCM tools (eg, Subversion, JIRA with Confluence, etc.)Experience coordinating the development of Configuration Management Plans (CMP), as well as maintaining and updating them, and all processes pertaining to CMExperience monitoring and reporting on software development CM activities (eg, product baseline, identification and control of developed software, COTS/GOTS, hardware, and documentation)Familiarity with Configuration Management SCM/CM concepts, software build and release engineering, and build framework design and architectureExperience in source code administrationVersion control experience, such as subversion or Git for build reports and softwareContinuous integration tools for software development (eg, Jenkins)Experience working with database server deploymentsExperience running continuous integration build life cycles focused on automationExperience with security accreditation to include authority to operateMust possess skills in most of the following areas:o Experience with DevOps CI/CD pipeline principles and SecDevOps best practiceso Expertise in web stack technologieso GitHub, Jenkins, CentOS, Bash, and/or Perlo AWS and/or C2S o MySQL and/or RDSo Apache Spark, Hadoop, and/or Solr o Apache Tomcat, Eclipse, SVN, ANT, Active Directory, LDAP, and/or Regex Software design skills Expertise in the following web stack technologies:o Java, SQL, JavaScript, and/or XMLo Spring web MVC or any other web framework (eg, React, Angular, and/or Vue) o Experience with OracleCandidate must have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent:10 Years of job related experience and High School/GED diploma8 Years of job related experience and Associates degree6 Years of job related experience and Bachelors degree4 Years of job related experience and Masters degree2 Years of job related experience and DoctorateThese Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:Proficiency in cloud and virtualization technologies and their APIsExperience supporting Atlassian Suite products (eg, JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket)Strong knowledge of technology and security topics, including network and application security, infrastructure hardening, security baselines, web server, and database securityExperience with RMF process and Xacta softwareAWS Certified Solutions Architect AssociateAWS Certified Developer AssociateAWS Certified DevOps Engineer ProfessionalWork Hours:Core hours: 9:30AM 2:30PMWork Location:McLean, VAWhat We Can Offer You:- Weve been named a Best Place to Work by the Washington Post.- Our employees value the flexibility at CACI that allows them to balance quality work and their personal lives.- We offer competitive benefits and learning and development opportunities.- We are mission-oriented and ever vigilant in aligning our solutions with the nations highest priorities.- For over 55 years, the principles of CACIs unique, character-based culture have been the driving force behind our success.BITS1BITS3Job LocationUS-Mclean-VA-VIRGINIA SUBURBAN CACI employs a diverse range of talent to create an environment that fuels innovation and fosters continuous improvement and success.
