Power Plant Mechanic

The George Mason University, Facilities Department is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic person for a Power Plant Mechanic Position. Responsibilities: This position Performs work of considerable difficulty with responsibility for independently inspecting, maintaining, repairing and/or rebuilding a variety of power plant mechanical and related steam and heating equipment.

Required Qualifications: * Valid Driver's License; * Must be able to read, write and calculate mathematical/numerical figures; * Considerable maintenance and mechanical experience with power plant equipment.

Preferred Qualifications: * An equivalent combination of training and experience indicating possession of the preceding knowledge, skills and abilities may substitute for this education and experience.
