This position is available for immediate occupancy and offered through Robert Half Finance. In this position, you will be responsible for leading daily operations, including maintaining the general ledger system, preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. The ideal candidate should be able to establish and scale company accounting and finance operations. What you get to do every single day - Assist in system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration - Drive and manage the full accounting team performance of the close process to meet close deadlines - Team up with FP&A and accounting management to develop relevant, timely reports on financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook - Assemble a variety of technical accounting policies, procedures, and analyses - Regularly review and inspect balance sheets and income statement accounts owned by the Senior Accountant - Contribute to the preparation of GAAP financial statements through data analysis, document preparation, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes Job Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience - Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset - Proven technical skills - CPA required - Strong familiarity with Lease Accounting - Well-founded grasp of US GAAP - Revenue recognition experience ( ASC 606) - Microsoft Excel experience - Month end closings experience - Proven knowledge of Financial Statement - General familiarity with technical accounting - Excellent problem-solving skills - 5+ years of recent relevant financial experience - Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable Please send resume to @RobertHalf.com for immediate consideration!
