The primary purpose of this job is to work with the warehouse operations partner and internal PenFed departments to ensure the effective administration, growth and profitability of the warehouse division. This position will ensure an environment of risk mitigation and compliance is maintained while overseeing regulatory risk, portfolio management, and audits within the division. Responsibilities Oversee warehouse lending s portfolio management activities, including ongoing review of customer performance and covenant compliance, and coordinating actions taken by warehouse operations partner on non-performing customers or collateral. Manage division audits (financial, regulatory or internal), and operations partner, proactively addressing any negative audit findings. Create warehouse lending policies and procedures for products, client eligibility, due diligence, approval and lending processes. Represent warehouse lending at PenFed department meetings. Support Vice President in the identification, due diligence, approval and launch of new, profitable warehouse lending relationships. Develop and maintains reports to determine the effectiveness of the division. Identify and recommend initiatives to improve division performance. Ensure the proper diversification of lender base to ensure mix of profitability and risk. Responsible for strong credit quality working closely with credit/risk. Identify opportunities to leverage existing correspondent relationships for warehouse potential including synergy relationships. Responsible for the recertification of operations partner and all lender recertifications Qualifications Bachelor s Degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred. Minimum of twelve (12) years of experience in mortgage banking or warehouse lending roles required. Minimum of five (5) years of direct management required. Demonstrates knowledge of, adherence to, monitoring and responsibility for compliance with state and federal regulation and internal PenFed policies and procedures. Demonstrated knowledge of mortgage lending and warehouse operations. Strong business acumen with critical thinking skills will be necessary. Robust program management experience preferred. Demonstrable experience of building and maintaining strong client and partner relationships. Outstanding leadership and organizational skills. Ability to influence and manage conflicting priorities of key stakeholders. Proficient in MS Office suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills and the ability to effectively. interface with senior management, executives and staff. Able to work autonomously and highly pro-active. Driven to identify and implement continuous improvement. Supervisory Responsibility This position will not supervise employees. Licenses and Certifications There are no additional certifications required. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an indoor office setting with moderate noise. *Most roles require working in an office setting with moderate noise and the ability to lift 25 pounds.* Travel Ability to travel to various worksites and be on-call is required.
