Position Title :: Global Trade Group Command Media Manager Duration :: 12 Months Locations :: Arlington Virginia 22202 United States Job Description: Manage of Global Trade Group (GTG) Command Media throughout the lifecycle of drafting to final posting in the corporate electronic library. Reviews draft policies and procedures submitted by corporate trade segments/functions and non-trade functions to ensure alignment with corporate GTG trade-related command media. Recommends changes to ensure alignment with GTG trade policies and procedures. Maintains GTG records relating to trade policies and procedures, tracks status of all command media submitted to GTG by the Policy Review Board (PRB) and ensures suspense deadlines are met. Assists managing GTGs Policy PRB command media activity and associated records. Assists with planning, organizing, and implementing activities of GTGs command media management ensuring that all of GTGs policies and procedures comply with corporate publications requirements. Provides guidance and assistance to GTG staff on all aspects of writing policies and procedures that meet the PRBs standards. Monitors Federal Register Notices (FRN) for proposed and final rule changes relating to trade-related regulations (eg, International Traffic in Arms Regulations and Export Administration Regulations). Provides summaries to GTG office directors of trade-related FRN rule changes and identifies GTG command media likely impacted by the proposed changes. Performs ad hoc management studies to evaluate and measure the progress and success of GTG policies and procedures improvement. Collects statistical data and narrative information and apply analytical techniques to identify patterns and trends. Assists with developing, tracking, and reporting activities. Job Requirements: Required Skills / Qualifications: Experience using automated information management systems (ie Shared Electronic Work Environment) Records Management (ie Creation to Retirement) Analytical Skills Oral and Written Communication Ability to multi-task effectively Ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of management Knowledge and skills to fully perform all requirements of the duties including relevant experience in publications and records management development. Skills recognizing how to translate FRN information into organizational specific policies and procedures. Experiencing extracting, reviewing, consolidating data in the formulation of reports; assisting senior managers in the preparation of reports; and performing research of laws/regulations. A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience/years). Specific trade background not required, but desirable.
