CCNA R/S or CCNA-Collaboration certification is required prior to conversion Basic UCCX knowledge is a nice bonus, not so much on the UCCX side itself but more on the UC side of how you need to setup a person to be an agent in UCCX from the device perspective.* Setup things like auto attendants/call handlers in Unity Connection along with troubleshooting that would be huge.* Something that is huge is providing cutover support for a site the next day as we are adding many of them. Our customer is looking for a Network Engineer II to assist the senior engineer on the Cisco Unified Communications side of the house. There is a Network Analyst I that handles some of the junior voice tasks, but they are in need of an intermediate engineer to fill the level 2 role. This person would be responsible for configurations, troubleshooting and triaging issues appropriately. The ideal candidate would be a self-starter who doesn't require lots of direction. For example, take the UC tickets from ServiceNow, even if you do not know how to fix it necessarily, at the very least take it, assign it to yourself and get more info and begin the troubleshooting process. From there, they can escalate to the Senior Voice Engineer for guidance.
