Our team of multi-disciplinary experts is seeking an experienced Electrical Professional Engineer who will utilize their design expertise to dream big ideas on various and complex EI&C projects. Wed rely on your collaboration skills to lead or up and coming team members, coordinate interdisciplinary work as well as harmonize work share between teammates. By you taking the lead with generating and reviewing electrical equipment specifications, technical bid tabs, and approving vendor submittals we will continue to ensure a solid relationship our clients have come to expect from Jacobs. Youll also assist in a proactive manner on internal as well as external business opportunities. Let's see the big impacts we can make, together!Heres What Youll Need:*Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering *Virginia Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain through reciprocity*At least 15 years of experience in professional design of electrical systems *Low voltage power distribution experience*Solid understanding of applicable industry electrical codes, and standard practices, including the National Electrical (NEC) and NFPA requirements*Hands-on knowledge and design proficiency in electrical standards, codes, and vendor equipment optionsIdeally, youll also have:*Control system design experience *Prior electrical system testing and commissioning experience *Arc flash experience *Fluency in Spanish#BIAJacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
