Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized Experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
  • Ensure maintainability, readiness, supportability, and affordability through a series of Supportability Analysis, including but is not limited to Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Trade Studies, Use Studies, Baseline Comparative Study (BCS), Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA), Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), Condition Based Maintenance (CBM), Event Based Maintenance (EBM) and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) analysis. Each of the various supportability analyses are subsets of the Maintenance Planning Process.
  • Establish processes and guidelines that ensure that the supportability analyses performed are logical, analytical, repeatable and auditable, and result in successful identification of maintenance requirements and support alternatives. Document the results of these efforts in the Maintenance Plan to achieve readiness, ownership cost, and logistics footprint objectives.
  • Minimize impact of obsolescence on maintainability, providing proactive and reactive Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) problem identification, notification, solution development. Familiar with and able to utilize DMSMS management tools, and capable of developing new products and processes to assist in resolution of DMSMS issues.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations associated with acquisition logistics of aircraft, aircraft systems, and weapon systems. Ensure the Reduction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS), minimization of hazardous materials utilized, and overall management of environmental logistics (Env Log) in the DoD acquisition process.
  • Develop program acquisition documents such as: Capability Development Document (CDD), Analysis of Alternatives (AoA), Test & Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP), Component or System Verification/Test Plan(s), Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Support and Maintenance Concepts, Workload Standards and decision papers as required.
  • Develop, implement, and sustain maintenance and supply support solutions that are integrated and optimized in support of the Fleet and development of efficient Supply Chain Management (SCM) systems. Promote and supports Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) initiatives for maintenance and supply activities in the Fleet, FRCs, and NAVSUP WSS. Develop maintenance concepts and plans that support the applicable program's life cycle goals.
  • (7) Demonstrate expertise with and capable of getting consistently improved results from working with AIRSpeed, RIFLe, LEAN, & 6 SIGMA process and tools.
