Robert Half Management Resources has a great interim opportunity for a skilled Payroll Manager. As the Payroll Manager you will have the chance to oversee all aspects of payroll operations, including vendor management, systems, and processes & integration. You will also manage creating timely, accurate, and compliant payrolls, making improvements to currently existing processes, and creating exceptional customer experiences. You'll want to apply for this fantastic opportunity as soon as you can!What you get to do every single day- Work closely with other members of senior Finance leadership team- Lead and participate in pre- and post-payroll auditing/reconciling procedures and troubleshoot anomalies- Create all weekly, monthly, and special compensation payroll runs, in addition to describing pay policies (LOA, disability, worker's compensation, vacation, bonus, etc.) and ensuring accurate amounts/deductions are applied to all earnings codes in compliance with all local, state, and federal laws- Work to establish a successful and hard working team- Oversee internal and external audits- Partner with other areas in Finance, as well as Human Resources, Tax, IT, and other departments as necessary for reporting, compliance and strategic analysis- Relay information and data to senior executives and cross-functional business leaders and reply to any questions- Propose, lead, and work on projects in an effort to improve current processes- In charge of payroll operations as well as staff members- Conduct accurate analysis on payroll- Take the lead on record keeping and control systems to provide internal safeguardsJob Requirements:- Less than one year of experience- Well-founded grasp of multi-state payroll- General familiarity with payroll for over 500 employees- Proficiency in Oracle PeopleSoft Payroll- Proven knowledge of Automated Payroll- Solid understanding of PeopleSoft HRIS- Experience with Multistate Payroll- PeopleSoft experience required- Multi-state payroll experience- This position requires strong interpersonal skills for the candidate to be successful- Well versed in a range of payroll applications- Strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well- Proven skills in payroll-related cloud-based technology solutions- Certified Payroll Profession (CPP) certification favorable Robert Half Management Resources matches senior-level financial consultants with a variety of unique interim and long-term project opportunities in areas such as internal auditing, mergers and acquisitions, tax initiatives, and much more.
