Type of Requisition: Regular Clearance Level Must Currently Possess: Secret Clearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain: Top Secret/SCI Suitability: No Suitability Required Public Trust/Other Required: Job Family: Functional Experts Job Description: Duties: Support the Joint Staff, J-8, Joint Integrated Air and Missile Defense Organization (JIAMDO) in the development of IAMD capabilities. Support and facilitate the assessment of IAMD capabilities and help senior United Stated decision-makers assess and prioritize IAMD capability needs. Support and facilitate coordination and collaboration across IAMD stakeholders including the Combatant Commands, OSD, Joint Staff, military Services and Agencies, and intelligence community. Location: Pentagon, Arlington VA Education requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or relevant technical discipline. Requirements: Active Secret Security Clearance required. (TS/SCI preferred). Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Operational Research, or Physics. Travel 10% of the time or less, within the Continental United States. Experience requirements: Bachelor s degree plus 5 years of architecture development experience or Master s Degree and 3 years of architecture development experience Working knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering approaches, methods, and techniques; Familiarity with UML / SysML. Ability to apply a set of technical skills across multiple subject matter domains such as surveillance, command and control (C2), and integrated air and missile defense (IAMD). Experience developing and executing project plans. Strong oral and written communication skills. Desired experience: Proficiency in one or more of the programming languages for quantitative analyses (ex. MATLAB, Mathematica, Python, R). Experience with Model Based Engineering tools such as Rhapsody, MagicDraw, and Enterprise Architect Knowledge of Analysis of Alternatives, Verification and Validation, Design of Experiments and data analytics.
