Description About the Team Would you like to join the team that protects the global AWS platform from fraud? Do you enjoy thinking like a fraudster and using your technical skills to help AWS service teams strengthen their resilience to fraud threats? If so, AWS Fraud Prevention has an exciting opportunity for you. AWS Fraud Prevention is starting a new, intelligence driven team that will assess AWS services for fraud risks before launch, and proactively test and challenge AWS services and fraud prevention mechanisms for unknown fraud vulnerabilities. The teams goal is to root out and neutralize fraud threats and vulnerabilities before bad actors do, thus protecting AWS and its customers. About the Role We are seeking an experienced Intelligence Analyst to help develop and lead this teams strategic threat intelligence program. In this role, you will look beyond the horizon to proactively identify new fraud threats and vulnerabilities that may impact AWS. You will assist in developing ways to test for and measure the potential impacts of the threats and vulnerabilities you identify. You will create and disseminate intelligence products and information to a wide variety of stakeholders in various formats. You will also work service teams and other stakeholders to educate them about your findings and identify possible solutions. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter and excels in working with ambiguity. You must be intellectually curious and obsess over threats to cloud computing environments. You must be able to synthesize complex issues into deliverables for executives and other stakeholders to help drive business decisions. You must be able to communicate clearly verbally and in writing. You must be proactive in removing roadblocks, always be looking for ways to innovate and operate more efficiently, and able to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will need to influence internal and external stakeholders that are spread across the word, and be able to effectively rally support for your initiatives.
