Our team helps clients prepare for financial close, address compliance regulations, improve process and controls around financial reporting, and implement new accounting requirements.A' Our practice can provide the support organizations need with a comprehensive approach to tackle the most challenging accounting and financial issues that impact risk within an agency environment.QualificationsRequired:A cents € cents Ability to maintain the required Public Trust clearance for this roleA cents € cents Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the futureA cents € cents A' Bachelor's degree in AccountingA cents € cents A' 5+ years of experience performing financial statement audits and/or auditability assessmentsA cents € cents A' Experience in reviewing, analyzing, validating, and reconciling financial/accounting informationA cents € cents A' Experience improving Federal accounting and transaction process, internal control objectives and generally accepted accounting principlesA cents € cents A' Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 and/or OMB Circular A-123 documentation, Financial Improvement Audit Readiness (FIAR), testing and reporting requirementsA cents € cents A' Understanding of both proprietary and budgetary accountingA cents € cents Must be well versed in the financial statements, including the SBR, SF-132s and SF-133s, and all footnotesA cents € cents Skilled in all federal accounting standards, regulations, and guidance, to include FASAB, OMB, and TFMA cents € cents Familiarity with DATA Act and GTAS reporting requirements and processesPreferred:A cents € cents A' Certifications including CPAA' and/orA' CGFMA cents € cents A' Consulting experience in any of the following areas: business process improvement, financial management policies and procedures, financial system integrations, etc. A cents € cents A' Familiarity with US government financial accounting systemsA cents € cents A' Experience with answering to audit inquiries and questions How you'll growAt Deloitte, our professional development plan focuses on helping people at every level of their career to identify and use their strengths to do their best work every day.
