United Nations Foundation, partner with the UN, seeks an Associate to support the Girl Up program including activity- & results- based budgeting, strategic reviews, quarterly & annual planning; monthly budget categorization & analyze & track expenses; monitoring & evaluation support & tracking financial targets; investigate & resolve issues with program & grant implement’n within the UN system & U.S. Gov’t contracts; support U.S. Government funding grants & reporting; generate reports using Salesforce & Financial Edge for regular reporting; prepare expense reports; draft contracts, contribution & collaboration agreements, letters of intent, & grant agreements; develop & maintain a grants calendar.  Required: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance; 2 yrs exp as Accountant; 2 yrs exp managing complex budgets & completing detailed financial reporting; 2 yrs exp providing high-level strategic analysis of projects & best practice recommendations to drive strategic goals & ensure fin. sustainability; 1 yr exp developing contracts, grants, contributions, & MOU;1 yr exp working with UN system & U.S. Gov’t contracts & funding processes in Int’l Develop’t & Int’l Affairs; 2 yrs exp working with Word, PowerPoint & Excel; 1 yr exp working with Raiser’s Edge, Financial Edge, GIFTS & Salesforce.
