Job Summary: Electrical technicians perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled work in the maintenance and retrofitting of existing lighting fixtures. Essential Duties: Primary tasks include retrofitting existing lighting fixtures, installing LED light bar kits, replacing fluorescent and LED lamps, changing socket bars and socket, installing reflectors, installing door kits, and replacing pin or screw in lamps; Perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks involving the use of different hand tools, power tools and maintenance equipment used to retrofit, replace and repair lighting fixture; Assists with loading or unloading of trucks and staging material when needed; and Works on elevated platforms including ladders, scaffolding, scissor lifts and other mechanized equipment.
