This is an excellent opportunity for a rising or tenured Senior Accountant to secure a position with a stable, multi-entity firm that boasts a very competitive benefits package and remote working potential. The Senior Accountant will report to the Director of Accounting and will provide guidance to the Staff Accountant. The position will consist of the following:* Manage the monthly billing and semi-monthly labor processing cycles* Conduct monthly account reconciliations and resolves variances/discrepancies* Review accounts payable for firm, contract and FAR compliance* Support Payroll Manager in semi-monthly payroll cycle* Administer corporate credit card and travel programs* Contribute to department/company process improvements* Ad hoc tasks and projects as assignedJob Requirements:Candidates for this position should meet the following requirements:* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field* 3+ years experience in Government Contractor accounting* Experience with/knowledge of FAR 31 Cost Contract Principles and Procedures* Experience with job costing accounting systems, specifically JAMIS Prime, preferred* Experience with T&M or Firm Fixed Price contracts* Excellent written and verbal communication skills* Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple different tasks/assignmentsFor more information on this role or any of the others that we are currently working on, send an updated resume to Matt Shoe (matthew.shoe@roberthalf.com) in confidence.Robert Half Finance & Accounting matches skilled finance and accounting professionals in the areas of accounting, bookkeeping, finance, audit, taxation and more on a full-time basis.
