Job Number: 487888Regional HR CoordinatorHiring NOW! We are currently seeking a Regional HR Coordinator for our client in Northern Virginia. The right candidate will have minimum 1 year experience in HR Generalist or Coordinator experience or experience as a Regional Manager or Director in a retail or food service setting and must have a Bachelors Degree. This is a direct placement opportunity that would start between $55k-$65k depending on experience. POSITION SUMMARY: The HR Generalist is accountable for providing HR support to all salaried and hourly employees and management through effective communication and administration across all functions of the facility. Under the direction of the Director of HR, the HR Generalist oversees employee development, employee relations/labor relations, policy/contract interpretation, compensation administration and legal compliance. EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE -A bachelor's degree and three (3) to five (5) years of Human Resources experience, or -A master' degree in Human Resources Management and two (2) years of experience in the HR field, OR -Seven (7) years of experience in the HR field, OR any similar combination of education and experience. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS -Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of personnel administration, effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills. -Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred. -Strong Excel and data analytic skills. -Strong critical thinking and attention to detail. -Strong interviewing skills, oral and written communication skills. -Strong business acumen to foster a strong culture though all levels of the company. -Experience investigating and responding to both internal and external charges and/or complaints, -Must be energetic and work well in an independent, collaborative environment. -Ability to motivate and inspire line level staff and field management.
