Responsibilities: * Assess system architecture and current hardware limitations * Participate in gathering business and product functional and performance requirements * Define and design system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility * Participate in customer briefings and technical exchanges * Frequent local DC Metro Area travel * Occasional Domestic and/or International travel Required Qualifications: * Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field of study from an accredited institution * 5+ years of experience as a systems engineer or similar role * Experience working with Linux (RHEL or CentOS a plus) * Familiarity with virtualization technologies, networking, shell scripting * Active TS/SCI security clearance Applicants selected for employment may be subject to a federal background investigation and may need to meet additional eligibility requirements for access to classified information or materials. TS/SCI clearance required. Desired Qualifications: * Redhat Certified Systems Administrator/Redhat Certified Engineer * Familiarity with software development lifecycle * Experience with configuration management and discrepancy tracking tools * Experience with Automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, etc.) Ready for action?
