Job Description Lockheed Martin C6ISR is looking for a highly motivated technical lead to support the architecture, development, and testing of a next-gen system that enables to rapidly field new capabilities to combat the latest threats presented to the DoD and international customers This position is for an experienced software engineering architect. Responsibilities include: Understanding customer CONOPs Establish vision for overall acoustic architecture Performance, Viability, Transition Roadmap Establish vision for overall system architecture & processes Transition Roadmap Reliability, Scalability, Maintainability, Stability System performance Deployment architecture Frameworks and protocols Development, I&T processes and tools Overall product performance Participating in working groups Participating in definition of technical tasks Acting as Liaison with Customer Chief Engineer Keeping abreast of all ICP builds/activities Communicating technical direction to engineers Directly engage with Advanced Development activities Big picture vision and plans for capability insertion to production Providing customer technical status This candidate will apply systems and software engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement. Interacts with the Government regarding Systems and Software Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts. Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives. Responsibility for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables. Serves as focal point for the development and communication of the system architecture. Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software. Basic Qualifications: Extensive experience with Java and C++ programming experience Experience with advanced System engineering/Architecture/Administration in a large and distributed environment Demonstrated experience utilizing Agile frameworks for project lifecycle and/or understanding of Agile development concepts Extensive experience with virtualization technologies Solid understanding of cloud computing design and security principles Demonstrated experience using large data intensive systems Experience with continuous integration and deployment Wide range of knowledge across IT disciplines including software, cyber, and network engineering Demonstrable experience working on complex programs, projects, and large cross-functional teams Knowledge of microservices Desired Skills: Strong knowledge of load balancing and computing scheduling C/Python/Bash programming/scripting experience Experience with container technology and Linux performance tools Experience with test automation Individual should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: job.Qualifications Lockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
