About The Job Sandy Spring Bank is currentlyrecruiting for an Application Support Analyst in the Application andInformation Management department. If you are the chosen candidate, you will beresponsible for operational and strategic activities within our bank supportedapplications. Operational activities include, but are not limited to, end-userticket troubleshooting, data quality and maintenance, and integrationmaintenance and support. Strategic activities may vary from project to projectbut usually include translation of business requirements, platform design andarchitecture, configuration and customization within the platform, and testingand training of new functionality. The Application Support Analyst will workclosely with business leaders and other colleagues in the data and informationtechnology teams as well as other Application and System Administrators andAnalysts. Areas of focus: APPLICATIONSUPPORT Perform support duties and maintenance activities for key bank software platforms across various lines of business. Responsibilities include working through support tickets and operational activities to ensure proper application use and integrity. Test and support of new application functionality including, but not limited to: process documentation, data maintenance, and ongoing support. BUSINESSANALYSIS Work with end-users companywide to identify needs and gather requirements for initiatives to improve efficiency, productivity, and integrity through the use of applications. Over time, make recommendations for further improvements relative to cross-functional business processes and data flow to internal and external partners. DATAANALYSIS AND REPORTING Utilize applications and system tools to provide meaningful business reports across varying data sets. Identify gaps in data-driven processes and leverage business analysis to recommend subsequent data-drive process improvements. PROJECTSUPPORT Participate on projects teams to assist in process & procedure implementation for business applications. This includes translating business requirements to application configuration as well as identifying further integration and automation needs. Required Skills: Bachelors Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Systems Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or other applicable fields is preferred.
