Role Summary: The Sr. Decision Sciences Analyst, Digital Products will integrate closely with the digital product team in order to set and achieve strategic objectives. To do so, you will research, prepare reports and analyze data to deliver insight and make recommendations aimed at increasing customer satisfaction and loyalty. You will be involved in the entire digital product pipeline, from defining the KPIs to monitoring their success. As the quantitative testing lead on the team, you will be a driving force on what we are building for our customers and why we are building it. Your actionable insight will span our digital product ecosystem across brand platforms, web and native mobile applications. We are looking someone who is a curious collaborative creator that is energized by using data to make smart decisions. You are skilled at exploring data and using multiple tools to aid your traversal and story building. You are committed to your work and take it to completion through your impassioned confidence when presenting and defending your findings to management. This is a new position, in a new team, with the unique opportunity to lay the foundation of how digital analytics is conducted. Role Responsibilities: Extract, curate, explore, and analyze data from large data sources (25%) Perform extensive data analysis to influence business decisions (20%) Develop insightful data visualizations and presentations to clearly communicate key analytical findings (20%) Create, define and track product KPIs and success metrics (20%) Collaborate with business owners, stakeholders and leadership to methodically transform business problems into detailed and practical analytical requirements (10%) Act as a Data Steward to support the development of an analytical data framework (5%) Experience: 7-9 years of professional experience 5-7 years utilizing methods and tools to extract, curate, explore, and analyze data from large data sources 3-5 years in business analysis to effectively communicate key data insights 3-5 years utilizing data visualization tools to discern critical information from large data sources 1+ years in statistical model building Education: Bachelor s degree in Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Research or similar quantitative STEM field Master s degree in Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Research or similar quantitative STEM field General Skills: Strong analytical mindset and ability to use data and logic to make compelling business cases Ability to decompose complex business problems into their constituent parts Ability to use innate curiosity to collaborate with different business units to co-create solutions Blend of strategic and tactical thinking, creative and analytic reasoning Passion for data analysis and problem solving A fantastic storyteller who is at ease presenting to, and can influence, senior executives Specialized Skills: Required Experienced in methods and tools to extract, curate, explore, and analyze data from large data sources (SAS, SQL) Adobe Analytics Experienced in data analysis and data mining methods and tools (SAS, R, Python) Experienced utilizing data visualization tools to effectively communicate key data insights (eg Tableau, Qlick, D3, Datawrapper) Tableau experience is a must Advanced SQL, SAS, Business Objects skills Expert in Excel and PowerPoint Strong understanding of statistical methodologies and techniques utilized for analyzing large datasets Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience, both in writing and verbally Comfortable working with tight deadlines; must be proactive and able to multi-task. Successful record of accomplishment of thriving in a fast paced, entrepreneurial and dynamic environment Strong communication skills across all mediums and audience types (technical, business, executive, etc.) Desired Algorithmic data analysis automation techniques using tools like Python, R, SAS Experience with Informatica Metadata Manager and Business Analyst tools Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Postgres, etc Experience in Financial Services (automotive finance preferable) Work Flexibility: Travel 10% of the time We are proud to be an EEO employer M/F/D/V.
