Company: Our client, a NYSE-listed, acquisition-oriented company seeks a high potential, hands-on financial professional to lead the company's financial reporting, consolidations, and M&A due diligence function. The company is looking to double in size within the next 3-5 years through acquisitions and organic growth. The company is located in the Greater Washington DC area. Position: Reporting to the Sr Manager of SEC, this critical role will oversee SEC related filings, internal and external financial reporting, financial due diligence of potential acquisitions, administration of companys equity plan, as well as the integration of acquired businesses. Specific responsibilities include supporting preparation of SEC financial reporting, researching complex accounting transactions, and assisting with GAAP financial statements and the consolidation of operations. This a broad based role with the potential for significant upward career mobility. Candidates: Bachelors degree in accounting; CPA required. Prior Big 4/public accounting experience desired. Minimum of 4 years of SEC filing/accounting experience. High potential, hands-on, financial professional with strong attention to detail. Proven management and leadership skills in an entrepreneurial, rapidly-growing company. Compensation: Excellent compensation package including salary and incentive bonus.
