Dewberry is currently seeking a Wireless Business Development lead for our Fairfax, VA office for our wireless services team. Our growing, fast-paced telecommunications business sector is seeking a client focused, highly motivated, organized, outgoing, and aggressive individual to manage our growth and build new client relationships, while also maximizing our opportunities with our existing clients.

The ideal candidate should have experience building wireless business associated with site acquisition, engineering and construction services for wireless customers along the eastern US.

Responsibilities

  • Working collaboratively with Dewberry's telecom market segment teams on developing a business development strategy;
  • Meeting with both new and existing clients to develop new opportunities;
  • Develop and organize business development initiatives;
  • Assist in development of responses to requests for proposals and qualifications, including assisting on benchmarking cost proposals;
  • Developing and implementing a strategy to increase Dewberry's brand recognition as a full service provider to the wireless industry;
  • Develop and maintain a sales pipeline / funnel, tracking our wireless sales initiatives across the enterprise;
  • Coordinating sales activities across the Dewberry telecom market segment team;
  • Establishing priorities and goals for business development including establishing sales goals for new and existing clients;
  • Work with senior management to develop strategy to maintain client satisfaction and drive sustainable growth.


Required Skills & Required Experience

  • BS degree in business, marketing, engineering or related field preferred;
  • 10 years + of wireless business development experience;
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
  • 5 Years of experience in management/supervision;
  • Excellent financial management skills;
  • Recognized expertise and deep knowledge of wireless market.
  • Strong client retention and relationship management skills.
  • Position will require travel


Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record and ability to pass a driving record background check.
