Northrop Grumman's Maritime Warfare Control Systems (H20) program is seeking experienced Software Engineers to join us in King George, VA. The H20 program provides engineering services and infrastructure services for the development of Maritime Command and Control systems, Warfare/Weapons Control systems, and future warfare development for the US Navy. This position is located in King George, VA. In this role, your responsibilities include: Design, develop, document, test and debug applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions. Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software. Support the full product life cycle to include prototyping, requirements definition, design, development, integration testing, and maintenance Determine computer user needs. Analyze system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Prepare operating instructions. Design and develop compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems. Ensure software standards are met.
