Senior Software Engineer IIs

Government Employees Insurance Company (GEICO) seeks the following position at both our Rockville, MD and Chevy Chase, MD locations: Senior Software Engineer IIs: May work remotely one day per week. Analyze large scale projects incl: integration + configuration changes + business rules. Develop designs for Guidewire changes. Conduct code reviews for other Guidewire changes. Eval large scale projects incl: data model changes + business rules. Test + troubleshoot issues. Mentor jr Guidewire developers. Participate in design reviews for other developers. Work w/ Guidewire UI + Rules, and Integration, Java J2EE, Web Services, XML definitions, scripting (GOSU, JavaScript, etc.) relational databases, UML + other OO Tools. May require background checks and drug screening. Occasional weekend support. Little domestic travel may be involved. Must have Bachelors in Comp.
