If so, we may have a compelling new career opportunity for you!Microsoft US Federal Services is looking for a Contracts Administrator with specific and demonstrated Federal Government contracts support experience and a working knowledge of FAR Part 12, with a proven track record of supporting Contracts Managers with various contract administration activities. You will bring experience providing end-to-end direct contracting assistance to Contracts Managers who support Microsoft Consulting and Product Support Services in a very fast paced, high volume and highly transactional IT Services environment. You will assist and provide contracting support to Contracts Managers in the development, capture, negotiation, execution and administration of IT services proposals, contracts, teaming agreements, non-disclosure agreements and subcontracts with our Federal Government agencies. Your performance will require contract administration duties, such as completing representations, certifications, contract reports and close-outs, and instructing Microsoft's Risk Management on the contractual requirements for the delivery of required insurance certificates, self-insurance letters, and performance bonds. Prompt and regular collaboration and communication with Contracts Managers and our IT Consulting Delivery Managers and Sales Managers and Executives is critical to helping sell Consulting and Product Support Services.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include:Provide competent contract and subcontract support necessary to help drive IT Services contract revenue for Microsoft Consulting and Product Support Services;Provide contract support activities from contract development through contract closure and delivery completion;Using web-based tools, track and generate team New Work Sold reports;Support RFP bid responses, by reviewing and completing proposal support documents to ensure compliance with RFP requirements;Assist Contracts Managers with contractual/legal compliance and reporting with Government contracts and subcontracts;Communicate with internal customers, Federal Government customers and Microsoft Partners to ensure proper execution and close-out of contracts and subcontracts;Review, draft and help negotiate Teaming Agreements and Non-Disclosure Agreements in support of our US Federal Services business;As requested, draft contract amendments, extensions and change orders in compliance with Government contract regulations and policies; and,Work closely with Sales and Delivery teams to meet/exceed New Work Sold, Billed Revenue and Product Support quotas.QualificationsRequired Experience/Qualifications:A BA or BS degree, or equivalent experience3+ years' experience providing end-to-end Federal contract administration supporting the sales of IT Services contracts and subcontracts in the US Federal Government Sector Federal Contract administration and management experience with excellent working knowledge and practical experience with the various Federal Sector contracting rules and regulations Experience negotiating Teaming Agreements and Non-Disclosure Agreements in support of capturing government services business Experience and willingness to develop internal team relationships through interactions over the phone, email and in person to assist in driving Services growth in US Federal Government Operating Unit.The successful candidate must be a US Citizen. Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of US Citizenship to meet federal government security requirements.Cloud Screening: Candidates must be able to successfully complete and pass a Microsoft Cloud background screening. Required Cloud Screenings will be administered on a recurring bi-annual basis.Desirable Skills:Legal/paralegal training, education, and/or work experience is a huge advantage;Direct IT Services Sales Support (cradle-to-grave lifecycle);Proposal/Solicitation Preparation;Contract Writing;Knowledge of Intellectual Property/Data Rights;Partnership/Teaming Arrangement;Risk Management;Sole Source Procurement;SOW/Specification review;Change Management process;Customer Relationship Development. Location/Travel - You will be based in Reston, VA.
