Overview Open & closing dates Opening and closing dates09/01/2020 to 09/17/2020 Service Competitive Pay scale & grade GS 14 Salary $121,316 to $157,709 per year Appointment type Permanent Work schedule Full-Time Duties SummaryYou will serve as the Director of the Logistics Division for the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, Vice President for Finance and Administration, Assistant Vice President for Administration Department.ResponsibilitiesYou will develop, coordinate, and direct logistical programs and allied programs to ensure that the University provides the highest quality medical education and medical research facility attainable.You will establish policies, procedures and processes for receiving and delivery of all supplies, equipment and material used by the University.You will develop short and long-term plans, goals, and objectives for providing logistics, material management, property management, medical equipment maintenance, and radiation test equipment calibration programs.You will review plans, processes and achievements of branches to ensure accomplishment of mission support.You will prepare plans and approaches to resolve staffing, budget, equipment, and facilities problems encountered in the Logistics Division.You will be responsible for the execution of the Logistics Division's annual budget.You will perform division level supervisory personnel management responsibilities.Travel RequiredOccasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: directing medical logistics management operations to evaluate integrated logistical actions and coordinate program plans.
