Through our unique and tailored services, we are able to bring a blend of technical expertise and creative awareness to the table.Reporting to the CFO, the Dir/VP is responsible for general day to day finance work products of the team with ad hoc analysis and support as needed. This individual will play a key role in creating models and analysis to help the business improve company performance, accelerate its growth, and drive decision making processes. The Dir/VP will ensure required resources and effective processes are in place to execute and meet deadlines on the finance goals and objectives. He or she will report/present project data and analysis to management.This resource should be a self-motivator, be inquisitive, and collaborate in a team environment. Individual is expected to be very critical of all source data, using evidence that has been well researched rather than just providing self-opinion.Key Responsibilities:Performs financial analysis support to understand and solve complex circumstances and provides analysis of key information to ManagementWorks with Accounting, Contracts, Program Management, FP&A, Pricing, and the Business Units in solving complex issuesAssists project leadership in resolution of issues involving cost, schedule, & changesAnalyzing abilities: The ability to work with large volumes of data, analyze trends, and variances to produce reports timely as part of the standard monthly reportingBudgeting and Forecasting responsibilities in support of corporate objectivesDealing with problems: Working with company leadership to walk through analytical trends and data to provide them the best information possiblePerform process improvement and implement automation where possible to improve team effectiveness and speed of reportingEnsure compliance with the Company's financial policies and procedures to include revenue recognition policiesProvide insight and recommendations around financials and financial impactsRequired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred10+ years of related experience with financial management, business management and/or project control experienceGovernment Contracting - knowledge of various contract types and wrap rate structures including a cost-plus environmentExperience in designing, developing, and implementing project finance processes and controlsExperience with internal and external audits from a program financial perspectiveMinimum requirements:Must be a self-starter with ability to define tasking, manage workload from multiple sources, and independently resolve multifaceted situationsAbility to resolve complex issues, strong organizational skills, excellent oral and written communications skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work under minimal supervision and effectively manage multiple/changing prioritiesAbility to adapt to a changing environmentMust have excellent relationship building skills with the ability to support and interface with managers at senior levels (eg, director, senior director, VP, CXO)Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written (technical/financial) communication skillsHigh level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (all programs), especially ExcelEarned value management and related tools such as CobraExperience with core program structure and establishment such as work breakdown structure, organizational breakdown structure, requirements traceability matrix, integrated master schedulePreferred Qualifications:Mergers & Acquisition integration preferredDisclaimerThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
