We aim to deliver a frictionless consumer experience, from the initial engagement to a final transaction.THE JOB:We are looking for a creative leader with drive, vision, and an eagerness to get the work done. Brand design is your specialty - digital, social media, traditional, experiential - you know how to tie it all together and own a brands aesthetic and own it completely. You can express the unique character, attitude, and behaviors of a brand. As Creative Director, you are the big ideas person but can be resourceful - ready to work hands-on to execute the vision. You have motivation and passion that stands out to those around you and are driven by the ability to inspire with your execution and design abilities. You are nimble and adaptable to change and redirection. You are unique in that you also love copy and love to dream up campaign headlines.RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:Manage and coordinate creative priorities across multiple brands and departments.Own the branding, design, and voice of all creative outputs from website and emails, to ads and customer videos, to events and presentations, to trade-show booths and company swag.Collaborate closely with Sr. leadership, department heads, and other stakeholders to create data-driven solutions to marketing and communications challenges while maintaining a focus on and a passion for excellence, revenue generation, and profitability.Demonstrate bold leadership skills. You will be the point of the spear when it comes to creative direction and execution of branding and lead-generation campaigns for multiple brands and sub-brands. You will be required to support, direct, and inspire your team in everything from the technical principles, language, and tools of sales and marketing, to team building, mentoring, motivation, professional development, collaboration and team morale.Attend strategy meetings and conduct creative briefings to assess client needs and help develop creative solutions for any/all media.Partner with leadership to continually drive and refine how we communicate our brands positioning, personalities, and value propositions.QUALIFICATIONS:A Bachelor's degree5+ years experience in a marketing leadership roleFamiliarity and experience with all major social media and internet publishing platforms (google, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, etc.) including data analytics.Proven success in managing creative teamsAdvanced experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere, Media Encoder, XD) (Mac and PC mixed environment)Experience with HTML, CSS, responsive/adaptive design principles.Experience with new media, UX/UI, and animation principles requiredExperience with video productionKnowledge of how to develop brand identities through multi-channel marketingWeb design experience required, especially using WordPress, CSS, HTMLDemonstrated ability to think creatively and provide marketable solutions in conceiving, developing, and producing tactics.Evidence of participation in ongoing professional development opportunities in the areas of graphic design or social mediaWell-developed communication skills including the ability to articulate creative concepts and rationale to other team members and clients.Professional business skills, such as negotiation, project management, and leadershipCreative copywriting experience and comfortable managing, writing, and presenting scripts and storyboards for corporate videos and client marketingExpert-level presentation and PowerPoint experienceCOMPENSATION:Your compensation for this full-time position will consist of a competitive salary based on your skills and experience as well as participation in company-provided benefits.Department: Creative Location: Herndon, VA
