As a Deployment Managerworking for SAIC, you will have a fast moving, challenging, and highlyrewarding position installing IT infrastructure on our nation's borders tosupport Customs and Border Protection. Duties and responsibilities: * Manage and perform equipment installations at Land Ports of Entry, Airports,and Border Patrol locations * Manage electrical contractors to support inside/outside plant sitemodifications * Track and document the progression of the work * Perform troubleshooting through to resolution * Identify problems and risks during installations and create resolutions tosolve difficult problems * Maintain a high degree of technical understanding of deployed solutions * Adhere to all IT Security, physical security, and operations securitypolicies * Work in field environment in all-weather without on-site supervision * Buildrelationships and trust with Customs and Border Protection officers and BorderPatrol Agents at work locations Qualifications Requirements and qualifications: * Bachelor's degree and 8 years' experience * 5 years of experience as aDeployment Manager or similar role * Public Trust clearance * Understanding of basic construction techniquesinvolving inside/outside plant and ability to read construction documents * Critical thinker and problem-solving skills * Solid understanding of basic Project Managementprinciples * Good time-management skills * Great interpersonal and communication skills * Accustomed to using mobile tools and applications * Understands basic electrical wiring principles (lowvoltage only) * Technically proficient with signal cabling such asCAT 6 and coaxial to include testing and termination * Management experience with subcontractors SAIC is a premier technology integrator solving our nation's most complex modernization and readiness challenges.
