OverviewSevatec is seeking a Project Manager to join our Department of Homeland Security program that is focused on cyber security ResponsibilitiesManagement and technical direction of projects Project performance including cost, schedule, deliverables, and contractual compliance, and is accountable for the quality and timely delivery of all project deliverable items Overall project/task performance Enforce work standards, task schedules, review work discrepancies, supervise technical personnel, recommend project hires and terminations, and communicate policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinate personnel Assist in the budgeting of required resources for successful project implementation and completionPerform risk management, including identifying, prioritizing, and mitigating risks, communicating and escalating risks and issues where appropriate, etc.Interface with key stakeholders as defined by the government and manage meeting notes, action items and track critical outcomes impacting the performance and deliver of ISB services.Ensure the team delivers Agile development artifacts, which will include project sprint/product/release backlogs, burn-downs/ups, team velocity, RTM, etc.Release roadmapsSprint planningDecomposition of versions, epics, and stories to be incorporated into sprint planningManagement and reprioritization of items in a backlogDaily scrumsQualificationsEducation: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree with 24 credit hours in business related coursesYears of Experience: Minimum of five (5) years' experience, most of which must have been in project management from minception to deployment6 years of total professional experienceCertifications: PMP certification requiredSecurity Clearance: Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain a government agency Suitability Clearance.
