Position Summary The American College of Gastroenterology is seeking a high-energy Marketing Manager with 3-5 years' experience, including Association experience, to serve as a key contributor to the Membership team. The Marketing Manager in conjunction with the Director of Membership, will develop, maintain and implement marketing strategies for the College. The Marketing Manager will develop marketing strategies to attract audiences relevant to ACG products and services. The Marketing Manager will build strong relationships internally between the Membership team and others in communications, education, meetings, and other key departments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Implements the membership marketing efforts, including renewals and recruitment. Duties include coordination with 3 rd party mail houses, email campaigns, direct mail campaigns, annual billing, etc. Implements marketing plans for key ACG products and services. These plans may encompass marketing of conferences, meetings, education, and others. Works with other departments to ensure cross promotion and engagement of member volunteers Monitors membership webpages and develops content to ensure it is up to date Assists the Director in researching new markets, coordinating mailings, developing email broadcasts, coordinating promotions and reporting Staff liaison to Committees Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications or related field preferred 3-5 years of membership marketing related experience with time management skills Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Excellent oral and written communication skills and attention to detail Copywriting and proofreading skills Multimedia marketing (including creating email promotions) Project management skills including the ability to organize and prioritize many projects simultaneously. Ability to determine and adhere to deadlines Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to follow through on projects Team player with the ability to work independently Knowledge of PC and Microsoft Office software Assumption of delegated authority and responsibilities Program evaluating and reporting PandoLogic.
