ECS is seeking an O365/Windows Systems Engineer to work as a member of a team managing and maintaining multiple network enclaves to support the DOD community. The candidate will provide support to a team developing, maintaining, creating, documenting, and installing network and enclave infrastructure. This is a demanding, high-energy position requiring innovative solutions to network, hardware, and software problems. The candidate will work with a team to install maintain and design the physical and virtual infrastructure of multiple enclaves. The candidate must have strong problem-solving skills. Primary Duties: Architect, deploy, and administer production, test, and development environments. Deploy and manage hybrid Office 365 environment through VDI including ADConnect synchronization, WAP, ADFS, Azure AD, and O365 admin portal. Troubleshoot and diagnose system issues to provide rapid remediation. ADFS integration and configuration for SSO authentication. Support continuous security monitoring, including participation in activities for the sustainment of a federal authority to operate (ATO) Exchange 2013/2016 on-prem deployment and support. Configuration/Integration of Two-Factor Authentication for Windows applications General Windows OS system administration. Routinely interact with government stakeholders to communicate status, issues and progress. Troubleshoot network connections and performance degradation Engage in actively learning, deploying, and maintaining new technologies Identify areas of potential efficiency improvement to include the development of automated routines Conduct other duties as needed. The job is located in Fairfax VA, with frequent local trips to Ashburn, VA. Required Skills: Must be a US Citizen Bachelor's Degree in a related technical field (eg, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, etc.) 10+ years of experience in Information Technology with increasing responsibilities in an enterprise server infrastructure focusing on systems engineering and integration in a DoD environment 6+ years supporting a large Windows environment and extensive server experience Experience managing the deployment, maintenance and operations of Office 365 systems in a hybrid environment Experience supporting web-based systems performance analysis and optimization 5+ Years network administration and troubleshooting Demonstrated ability to apply an understanding of systems administration and operations to proactively identify and remediate day-to-day technical and operational challenges Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to interact with customer stakeholders, including senior leadership. Strong understanding of network engineering tools, techniques, and best practices. Experience troubleshooting connectivity issues across all layers of the TCP/IP stack.
