ECS is seeking a Senior System Engineer (Active Directory) to work in our Washington, DC office. Job Description: ECS is looking for a Sr. System Engineer (Active Directory) with an active Top-Secret Clearance, to support a very dynamic customer in the DC area. We are currently expanding our team to support our federal customer, a world-wide recognized organization responsible for law enforcement and intelligence efforts. In this role, you will provide Tier 3/4 helpdesk, systems administration, and engineering support services to operate and maintain the customer's Active Directory infrastructure including providing GPOs, process/technical support to mission critical needs, resolution of escalated incidents and request, Problem Resolution, and O&M support to identity and credential management systems. Required Skills: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility Minimum of five (5) years' combined experience installing, configuring, securing, managing, troubleshooting, monitoring and designing solutions with Microsoft Windows 2012, 2016, and or 2019 Active Directory Infrastructure within a Federal or State Government environment Minimum of five (5) years' combined experience installing, configuring, securing, managing, troubleshooting, and designing enterprise authentication, replication, and single sign on solutions Minimum of five (5) years' experience deploying, configuring, managing, and troubleshooting and Microsoft Windows Group Policy, File & Printer Server, Microsoft and or Information Systems Access control systems Technical writing skills; and the Ability to effectively share technical knowledge between government and contractor's personnel. Expert experience with administering/management of network monitoring technologies such as Netwrix and System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) Expert practical experience in creating, modifying, and deleting group policy, troubleshoot group policy issues, determine the effect of all group policies on an account or account group, audit changes to group policy, and maintain a Group Policy Map Expert practical experience using Microsoft Active Directory Services, PowerShell, and/or other scripting tools; Expert practical experience using monitoring tools (ie Microsoft Advanced Group Management Policy (AGPM), Microsoft Resultant Set of Policy, Microsoft Forefront Identity Manager (FIM) and attributes), and Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) Desired Skills: Advanced knowledge related to installing, configuring, administering Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2016 R2, or 2019 equivalent Experience with providing quality/production methods to ensure existing group policies are already in-place to implement user request or change; Provide active follow-up with users and engineers to ensure actual change worked and did not cause of corrupt use profiles and permissions; Be able to identify impacts of AD, GPO, OU change; Ability to document order of applied change and criticality of sequenced process steps; Experience managing Domain replication; Expert practical experience applying Federal Information Services Management Act (FISMA) rules to the AD environment; Experience with SQL; LDAP and Secure LDAP Experience with IT environment utilizing SAFe Agile Methodologies Highly recommended have Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS), Security Plus (CompTIA)); preferably Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) certifications; CISSP: Network +, Security +; ITIL V3/4; ECS is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate or allow discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin, citizenship, disability, veteran status or any other classification protected by federal, state, or local law.
